CSM School of Nursing

This year, College of Southern Maryland School of Nursing wanted a fresh design.  This is what we came up with… lol

These tees and hoodies were made with Port & Company’s Essential tee in purple. The design is F&M Expressions’ Vintage print for that “well-worn” feel of that old tee you love. It’s just like traditional screen printing, only softer.

CSM School of Nursing Fund Raiser

The College of Southern Maryland’s School of Nursing asked me to make shirts for a fund raiser.  I made short- and long-sleeve tees, as well as hoodies, in athletic gray and black.

The more items they sold, the more money I donated.  They sold over 100 items and raised more than $760!

Great job, Future Nurses of America!

2017 TSHS Car Show

The 2017 Thomas Stone High School Car Show will be held rain or shine (hopefully, the latter!) on Saturday, May 6.  I made some “Registration” and “Judge” tees:

Thomas Stone Cougars

I was a little busy with Thomas Stone High School this year… first, I made some performance tees for Physical Education. Then, I made 300+ shirts for the seniors. The front design featured a cougar and a cool graphic

while the back contained the entire senior class overlaid on a cougar’s paw.

Later in the year, I made shooter shirts for the lacrosse team:

Team Spirit Tees gets (a little) political

La Plata, Maryland politics is starting to heat up and I was asked to make some stuff for the candidates.

First, I made some tees and caps for Jeannine James, the next mayor of La Plata…

Elect Jeannine James

And then I made some campaign tees for the next Town Council, Ward 3 — Emily Mudd-Hendricks:

A new day for La Plata!

Signature Tees!

Signature tees are great for graduates, class trips, sports teams, and more!   I have over 50 different template that  can be customized — in terms of colors, words, and clip art.  Pick the one you want and I will deliver the template with a Sharpie.  Get all your students, etc to sign the template.  When done, I will pick it up and convert it into a unique and memorable tee!

Kinda like this…

The 21st Annual Brothers-in-Law Getaway Weekend (BILGW21) is here!

This year, the hooligans will travel to Cambridge, MA to watch the Harvard – Rhode Island football game.  Then, a hop, skip, and a jump up to Mashpee for a nice game of full-contact golf.

As usual, there will be plenty of good food, cold beer, and laughter.

Have fun, gentlemen, and have a beer for me!

Warrior Dash 2016

The Maryland Warrior Dash was held on Saturday, May 14 at Budds Creek Motocross Track. It was a sloppy, muddy, fun mess this year!

I ran it with my kids (Emmy, Adam, and Mitch), a family friend and her son. We named ourselves Team That’s What She Said! and I made the custom tees with some hot pink tees from Anvil.

Malcolm Mustangs

Thank you to the Malcolm Elementary Mustangs for their recent business! They asked me to make them some custom tees for MESA, the Math Team, the Class of 2016, and for their Destination Imagination team.

First, I made this custom tee for the Math Team, using gold Goof Proof designs from Transfer Express, that I pressed onto navy short-sleeve tees from SanMar:

Then, I customized long-sleeve athletic heather tees from SanMar with navy Goof Proof designs from transfer Express for their MESA team. I added a little distress to grunge these tees up:

(Even More) Proof That Teachers ROCK

Thank you, teachers, for all of your hard work and dedication!

(from The Washington Post)

Employees of the Chester Upland School District in Pennsylvania will show up for work on the first day of school next Wednesday, but they don’t expect to get paid.

The district, which has been struggling with financial and academic problems for decades, is on the edge of insolvency and cannot make payroll, state and local officials have said.

So on Thursday, about 200 members of the local teachers union voted unanimously to work without pay as the new school year opens. They were joined by secretaries, school bus drivers, janitors and administrators.
