Congratulations to two phenomenal wrestlers from Thomas Stone, Ryan Sharp (@N3VER_dull) and Big David Henderson. Last night, they both competed in the Maryland States — Ryan at 195# and David in HWT.

While this is only Henderson’s first year at wrestling, he placed THIRD in States! Wow — excellent job, David.

Sharp, meanwhile, continued his unbeaten streak and became the Maryland State Wrestling Champion. Congratulations to an outstanding athlete and all-around good guy.

Congratulation to two Cougar Grapplers, David Henderson and Ryan Sharp.

Henderson and Sharp are heading onto States after taking first in their weight classes in the Regional Championships. David Henderson took the top spot in the HWT class, while Sharp gained first in the 195 lb.

Also joining his fellow Cougars at States will be Isiah Williams who made it to the State Championships for his first time. Congratulations!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I wish you all a safe, fun, stress-free Thanksgiving and hope that you are able to share it with those you love.

This year, I am thankful for my wife, my kids and pets, family and add-ons. I am thankful our country and for all those brave men and women in our Armed Forces who have fought, suffered and died to protect our freedom.

And I am thankful for my latest t-shirt job for the Thomas Stone Wrestling team — thanks, Coach Newman and best wishes for a successful season.
