Learn how Faith Breads was introduced to lacrosse and how she became one of the best players in the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference. You will also learn about some of the records she set at Thomas Stone and why her last school sponsored event was a memorable one.

I’d like to highlight and celebrate a couple outstanding SMAC athletes:Marty Margolis from La Plata and Rachel Elmore from McDonough.

Margolis, a senior at LPHS set the all-time SMAC wins mark in wrestling.

Elmore, also a senior, is quite the athlete. She is on the Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, Swimming, and Lacrosse teams at McDonough. She recently signed her letter of intent to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
